Our College Bus Service is a safe, reliable and quick way for students to travel to College. This service will drop students off very near to the College and collect them from the same point each day.

City Skills has a well-established reputation for equipping students with the skills that they need to be successful and our extensive links with industry provide the opportunity for our students to not only achieve whilst at college, but also go on to be successful in their chosen field.
Bursary funds are available to those students who need that extra support. These funds are means-tested and intended to assist students with some of the costs associated with studying, such as travel and meals.
City Skills offers an extensive range of vocational subjects, specialised careers advice and a comprehensive programme of support and personal development so that all students can flourish both academically and as individuals.
City Skills and Apprenticeships at Salford City College work in partnership with employers, giving students the opportunity to progress directly into employment from your course.
We are committed to supporting students in their next steps. Our pastoral and careers team work with students at the college to facilitate pathways to apprenticeships, Higher Education and into employment.
If you don’t have a grade 4 or C in GCSE Mathematics or English when you come to study with us, then you will be enrolled onto a course to help you improve in those areas. Our staff are experts in teaching 16–18-year-olds, so they build on the knowledge and skills already gained.
