Equivalent to three A-levels, our T-Level qualifications are two-year courses that have been developed in collaboration with employers to meet the needs of the industry and prepare you for a career in your chosen sector. Our Building Services Engineering T-Level has been specifically developed to give you an insight into key aspects of Electro-technical Engineering.You will study a range of modules, including Construction Design Principles, Digital Engineering Techniques, the Science behind building design and Business, Building services engineering systems and maintenance principles. You will spend 20% of your time on industry placements which will provide vital experience and valuable contracts that will impress a future employer. Our specialist industry-expert teaching team will deliver your lessons at City Skills.

Progression

The sole purpose of a T-Level is to prepare you for employment and a dynamic career. Due to the broad range of topics covered on the Building Service Engineering T-Level, you’ll be equipped for a career across a variety of sectors. You could work as an Electrical Installation Engineering, a Building Service Engineer or a Building facilities Manager. As the T-Level is equivalent to three A Levels, you could even decide to progress to university or a paid Apprenticeship, if you choose.

Assessment

When you have completed your T-Level qualification, you will receive an overall grade of Pass, Merit, Distinction or Distinction*. You will complete several assessments throughout your studies, including exams, coursework, synoptic assessments, and a reviewed industry placement.

Entry Requirements

Students are required to have achieved 5 GCSEs at Grade 4 or higher, including English and maths.
