WHAT WILL I STUDY?

Entry Level 3: Health and safety, communication in construction, employability skills and introduction to construction trades.

Level 1: Health and safety, communication and employability in construction, plus aspects of brickwork, carpentry and joinery, painting and decorating, plastering, plumbing and tiling.

Progression

This course is a stepping stone to one of our many other courses. It allows you to gain experience in more than one trade, before deciding upon a trade in which which you would like to specialise in. On completion of a Level 1 course your pathways may include a route into professional construction or alternatively a route on to an apprenticeship.

Entry Requirements

Level 1 Vocational Courses: Students are required to have grade 1s/2s at GCSE.
